00 - MANIFESTO Return to Codex

THE Manifesto.

I didn't build ORBIS because I saw a market opportunity. I built it because I spent 30 years watching great restaurants bleed - slowly, quietly, and completely unnecessarily.

01 - ORIGIN

30 YEARS INSIDE
THE INDUSTRYEvery position. Every shift. Every loss.

My name is Temo Benidze. I was born in Georgia - the country, not the state - and for the first chapter of my career, I lived inside the hospitality world the way most people live inside their own homes.

I became Georgia's first certified sommelier. I ran a resort as its CEO. I founded a hospitality college. I wrote a book on restaurant management. I worked in fine dining across Europe, the Middle East, and eventually New York - where I've lived for the past ten years.

I've stood at every position: behind the bar, on the floor, in the back office at 2 AM trying to reconcile a P&L that simply doesn't add up. I've watched talented, hardworking owners lose money they didn't know they were losing - on invoices never audited, on reviews never answered, on staff who didn't know what was expected of them because no one had time to train them properly.

This wasn't a niche problem. It was systemic. And it wasn't getting better.

02 - CATALYST

THE NIGHT
IT CLICKEDOne dream. One thought. Everything changed.

For two years, I'd been watching AI emerge - not from the sidelines, but obsessively. The day ChatGPT became publicly available, I was there. I spent hundreds of hours exploring every tool I could find, trying to figure out where this was going and what it meant.

I tried building an online store. I experimented with AI-generated art. I explored faceless video content. I kept looking for the right problem. Nothing fit.

Then one night - I woke up from a dream with a single thought that wouldn't let go:

Build something from what you actually know.

I sat down, opened Claude, and started thinking out loud. By morning, the architecture of ORBIS was sketched out. Not a feature list - a philosophy. An autonomous operating system that lives where restaurant operators already live: in their phones, in their WhatsApp, in the middle of a Saturday night service when everything is happening at once.

That was two months ago. The first two agents are already in production.

03 - PHILOSOPHY

WHAT ORBIS IS
- AND WHAT IT ISN'TNot a dashboard. A second manager.

ORBIS is not a dashboard. Not a reporting tool. Not another SaaS that requires onboarding, training, and a dedicated person to maintain it.

ORBIS is a second manager - one that never sleeps, never misses an invoice discrepancy, never forgets to respond to a 1-star review at midnight, never fails to brief the floor staff before a full house on a Saturday.

It operates through WhatsApp - the interface every restaurant operator already uses. No app to install. No login portal. No learning curve. You connect your Gmail and your WhatsApp number, and ORBIS goes to work.

Seven AI agents. Each one purpose-built for a specific operational domain: financials, invoices, guest reviews, kitchen compliance, staff knowledge, scheduling, reservations.

The interface is invisible. The impact isn't.

No dashboards you have to check. One link when you want to see.

I built it for the independent fine dining owner in Manhattan who works 70 hours a week, can't afford another $85,000 manager, and is losing money on problems they don't even know exist yet.

I built it because no one else could.
You can't design this product from the outside.
You have to have lived it.
04 - PRESENT

WHERE I AM
NOWBuilding from New York. Moving fast.

I'm building ORBIS from Newark, NJ - one block from the city I've made my home and my future. Ten years in New York have shaped how I think, how I work, and what I believe is possible.

I run ORBIS AI, LLC as a solo founder. Two agents are live. Five more are in active development. The first paying clients will be restaurants in Manhattan - the market I know better than any other, in the city I plan to build this in for a long time.

I work nights. I think in systems. I move fast because I understand the problem deeply enough to not waste time on the wrong things.

ORBIS is the project I've been building toward for 30 years - even when I didn't know it yet.

05 - CONNECT

IF YOU FOUND
THIS PAGEMost people won't. That's fine.

If you're a restaurant owner who's tired of being the last line of defense for everything - this is built for you. Start with the free pilot. Two agents, one month, no commitment. See what it feels like to have something working while you sleep.

If you're an investor, a potential partner, or someone who's seen enough of this industry to know that this is exactly what's been missing - I'd like to talk. No deck required. Just a real conversation.
